Whether in spring, summer, autumn or winter, whether reading a book, enjoying a good glass of wine or relaxing after an active sports day in our mountains – at Landhaus Barbara you will calm down, you can breathe out and come back to yourself.
Anni Gasteiger and Barbara Steger – two generations, one philosophy: Our great passion for our regional nature and our rural roots unite us and make us your personal hosts. We are happy to make your stay the best possible – with all our hearts and more than 30 years of experience.

What is there to experience?
Sport and nature-loving guests are really spoilt for choice: hiking, mountain biking, golfing, climbing in the summer; skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, ice skating in the winter. Kitzbühel is a great experience – 365 days of the year.
Landhaus Barbara is the ideal starting point for all your activities and of course it’s the perfect place for relaxing hours afterwards.
Grab a bath towel and off you go – you will reach the beautiful lake „Schwarzsee“, one of our greatest natural treasures, within a few minutes’ walk. The water of this natural moor lake is said to have healing power – why don’t you just try it yourself? Calm hours under old, shady trees are definitely guaranteed. How about some yoga by the lake? Arrive, breath and relax.
You will reach the medieval old town from Kitzbühel with its colourful house facades, boutiques, shops and restaurants within a 20 minutes’ walk or easily by car within 2 minutes. Many recommendable resting points are close to our country house – you will surely find delicious dishes for every taste.
